Parent Talks

Give your parents free access to our expert-led live talks across the year through a 12-month school licence.

We give parents practical support on the topics they most want help with, with clear advice, live Q&A and follow-up resources.

What's included in your licence:

Our Parent Talks Licence gives your school unlimited access to our full programme of live online parent talks for 12 months, starting in September.

Throughout the year, we deliver talks on the issues parents ask about most - from university, apprenticeships and work experience to wellbeing, online safety, relationships and results day. Each talk usually runs for around 30–40 minutes and includes time for Q&A. Afterwards, parents receive a written summary of discussion points so conversations can continue at home.

The Parent Talks Licence includes at least 8 unique talks. Sometimes we introduce additional talks in response to news headlines,  helping schools offer relevant support when parents need it most. When calls are extremely popular, we rerun them at different times throughout the year.

2. Share your school details

3. Receive your school access code

We will provide you with a unique school code for your parents to use when booking their place so there’s no charge to them

4. Start sharing with parents

Share the talks with parents, and we will send follow-up notes and resources directly to all attendees after each session.

Topics we offer:

  • Apprenticeships and work experience

  • university applications

  • post-16 and post-18 options

  • revision and exam preparation

  • results day preparation

  • stress and wellbeing

  • online safety and RSHE

  • social media and digital life

  • current issues affecting young people and families

Individual tickets to our talks usually cost £6.00 per parent.

A school licence allows you to make all of our talks available to your entire parent body across the year, offering excellent value.

Our live parent talks are highly rated by families, with 100% 5-star reviews on Eventbrite.

Why schools choose the licence

Schools want to support parents well, but often do not have the time to create extra events or resources themselves. This licence makes it easy to offer high-quality support across the year without adding significantly to staff workload.

It helps schools to:

  • strengthen the home-school partnership

  • offer timely support on the issues parents are most concerned about

  • give parents access to expert advice in a manageable format

  • support families at key points in the year

  • make parent support available to everyone, not just those who would buy a ticket individually

Guides that deliver a great deal of information without being overwhelming, even for parents who know very little about the UK education system.

What an amazing helpful resource for not only us as school workers, but also us as parents and carers. A big thank you for all your hard work and efforts in putting these wonderful resources together.

We looked online to find what resources were available specifically for parents and were surprised that, given how much information there was for children, there was very little guidance for parents. So we decided to write our first guide, and this marked the start of The Parents’ Guide to …
